Ideagen is on an exciting journey of ambitious growth, involving rapid organic expansion, strategic transformation, and global acquisitions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Manager to support these strategic initiatives and transformation programmes. This role is critical in announcing and integrating newly acquired companies into Ideagen, ensuring seamless communication and engagement across all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Counsel: Engage with senior leaders across the business to provide expert advice on the crucial role of effective communications in strategic decisions.
- Communication Strategy: Lead, develop, and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies for transformation and strategic initiatives, as well as for the acquisition and integration of new companies.
- Engagement and Understanding: Build creative and compelling internal communications plans that foster understanding and engagement with strategic initiatives among both existing and newly acquired employees.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with Ideagen’s internal and external communications teams to ensure aligned and consistent timing and messaging in line with the corporate narrative.
- Project Management: Own the delivery of internal communications plans from initiation to completion, managing all communication channels, collateral, and other deliverables such as Town Halls and microsites.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across different teams, including Integrations, Transformation, HR, regional and functional teams, and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale global transformation projects.
- M&A Understanding: Familiarity with M&A processes and the subsequent employee engagement requirements is highly advantageous.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills with experience in influencing senior-level global stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in a suite of communication technologies and O365 tools, with a willingness to be hands-on in using these to support communication objectives.
- Project Management: Strong project and change management experience, with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adaptable to change.
