Responsibilities:

  • Lead with kindness, role modelling open communication and a desire to support and enhance clinical care across the team
  • Capacity to effectively assess and or screen consumer need/ referrals and make clinically informed decisions regarding the appropriate course of action, consulting colleagues/ external services as required.
  • Ability to coordinate and plan acute crisis urgent assessments and secondary consultation
  • Contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team with a genuine commitment to working within a client-centred framework
  • Have knowledge and practice in delivering mental health care
  • Have consolidated skills in assessing mental state and risk
  • Be collaborative, responsive and empathic
  • Have the capacity to consult, liaise and negotiate sensitively with clients, their family or carers, treatment teams and community services
