As a Senior Compute Platform Specialist, you will posses a comprehensive expertise in Infrastructure and Networking. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational reliability of both Cloud-based and on-premise Compute environments in collaboration with our external partners. You will play a crucial role in shaping the Infrastructure Services strategy, assessing, endorsing, and implementing cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, all while driving continuous improvement and overseeing lifecycle management within our operational framework.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. (Preferred) or equivalent technical hands on experience.
  • Relevant Industry recognised Infrastructure certifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and operational management of robust infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure and on-premise Azure Stack HCI.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure system implementations conform to industry standards, internal standards, compliance, and security mandates.
  • Provide oversight with 3rd party service providers from proposal evaluation to project execution in to operational support.
  • Oversee and maintain ongoing lifecycle management of Compute platforms and services.
  • Driving continuous improvement across all compute infrastructure services.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance, system checks, and updates, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to less experienced colleagues.
  • Author and maintain HLD’s, LLD’s and support documentation is kept up-to-date.
  • Participate in governance forums including Technical Design Authority (TDA), Change Management, and Problem Management discussions.
