This position can be filled in Bad Homburg (Germany) or India (Bangalore).

Your assignments

• In your new role, you’ll join our SAP ERP FICO Applications team – a diverse cast of eleven colleagues with members in India, Germany, China, Russia, Mexico, and the UK.
• Together, you’ll collaborate with a third-party provider and help our customers by providing second level support on a daily basis.
• You’ll ensure that our changes to business systems function as intended by reviewing, analyzing, modifying, writing and executing detailed change request test plans and checklists.
• While doing this, you’ll monitor, diagnose and correct any tax related errors that may occur in the SAP FI and connected module.
• Using your extensive knowledge, you’ll advise us on technical process improvements that align with accounting and finance best practices, as well as our strategic and tactical business/IT objectives.

Your profile

• Multiple (7+) years of experience working with SAP FI applications and solid understanding of the SAP FICO implementation lifecycle in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA
• Good experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration
• Extensive experience in configuring and integrating SAP FICO applications (Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Supply Chain Management, and Asset Accounting) in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA
• Very good knowledge of SAP FI Account payable Ledger and of the MM to FI interface (Procurement process and Invoicing)
• Very good understanding of the vendor invoice management process incl. some add-ons like Open Text Vendor Invoice Management and ideally Psinova InvoiceCenter
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP-debugging, and related IDoc technology
• Good knowledge of VAT, income tax and withholding tax topics
• Some experiences with integration of SAP Ariba
• Program/project management skills are an advantage
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Advanced communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal, to successfully communicate complex technical information to stakeholders
