Furthermore, you will need the following to succeed in your role:
- Solid background in quantitative fields of (preferably non-life) insurance and reinsurance like underwriting, reserving, regulatory reporting, solvency calculations
- University degree in a quantitative science (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or related)
- Sound understanding of programming paradigms
- Actuarial degree is a plus
- Familiarity with agile methodology for project management (SAFe is a plus)
- Business fluency in English

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In this role, you will work closely together with our product owner, our developing teams, and with our clients. It’s this effective collaboration where Solveva excels and by which we lead the innovation in our field. It encompasses:
- Applying our tools to expand our set of reference implementations
- Implementing together with clients their own solutions with our products
- Providing ideas for the improvement of our platform from user feedback and your hands-on experience
- Supporting business development activities
- Explaining the product owner’s and the client’s vision to the development team and creating a chain of lucent stories and tasks to make it happen
- Staying up to date with actuarial methods as well as software engineering
