SENIOR CONSULTANT: IMMUNOLOGY C.I. STRATEGY
Atacana Group, Inc. is a global competitive strategy and intelligence consulting firm working primarily with the Top 10 Pharma companies.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant in Competitive Intelligence with a strong background in immunology. The ideal candidate will provide strategic insights and actionable intelligence to brand managers at leading pharmaceutical companies. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in immunology, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Advanced degree (PhD, MSci, or equivalent) in life sciences, immunology, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in competitive intelligence, management consulting, or strategic planning within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on immunology.
- Client Experience: Prior experience working directly with senior executives and brand managers in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Location: Based in the US (Eastern) or EU timezones
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives.
- Proficiency in using pharmaceutical databases (e.g., Citeline, Trial Trove, CT.gov, Alphasense, etc.) and other competitive intelligence tools.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
- Demonstrates initiative and a pioneering spirit, eager to challenge the status quo and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. Work directly with clients to understand their needs, design project scopes, and deliver tailored competitive intelligence solutions.
- Project Management: Lead and manage competitive intelligence projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights.
- Strategic Insights: Analyse multiple sources of intelligence to develop and present strategic recommendations, helping clients make informed decisions regarding product positioning, market entry, and competitive strategy.
- Report Generation: Create detailed and visually compelling reports and presentations that effectively communicate key findings and strategic recommendations to clients.
- Conference Coverage: Plan, attend, and report on key industry conferences (6-8 per year)
