Currently, we are looking for a Senior Consultant for our team in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or the UK.
As a Senior Consultant, you play a key role in steering large scale modernization projects, supporting our clients to achieve their business and technology ambition. You have extensive knowledge and experience in transforming legacy systems into agile, forward-looking assets with a successful history of orchestrating end-to-end mainframe modernization activities. You are a thought leader with a global perspective, possessing a unique blend of technical proficiency, leadership acumen, and a passion for driving digital innovation.

Your daily responsibilities:

  • Leading large-scale Mainframe modernization projects from inception to successful implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Developing and executing strategic roadmaps for mainframe modernization, incorporating the latest technologies to enhance system performance, scalability, and user experience
  • Utilizing and sharing expertise of mainframe technologies and modernization tools
  • Integrating mainframe systems with cloud-based solutions for optimized functionality
  • Aligning modernization efforts with organizational objectives and ensuring seamless transitions
  • Providing advisory and fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external partners
  • Continuously delivering measurable outcomes, optimizing system efficiency, reducing operational costs and enhancing user satisfaction through modernization efforts
  • Occasional travelling may be an option, depending on the assignment and your preferences

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

  • Proven ability to successfully lead large-scale Mainframe modernization projects end to end
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic mainframe modernization roadmaps
  • Proven track record of aligning modernization efforts with organizational objectives and ensuring seamless transitions
  • In-depth knowledge of mainframe technologies, including COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and modernization tools
  • Proficiency in integrating mainframe systems with cloud-based solutions for optimized functionality
  • Robust international experience in navigating the intricacies of mainframe modernization across various industries
  • Adaptability to diverse organizational cultures and a keen understanding of global market trends
  • Drive for results and demonstrated success in achieving measurable outcomes through modernization efforts
  • Ability to establish and foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent communication skills in English
