We help clients including Nestlé, Google, Zurich, and LEGO answer tough questions about how to grow through business transformation, brand strategy and innovation platforms. It’s an exciting time to be joining Ogilvy Consulting. As we grow, we’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Brand & Marketing Innovation practice.
Our Brand & Marketing Innovation Senior Consultants bring a unique blend of creative thinking, strategic depth, and analytical rigour. They’re broad thinkers with experience across research and analysis, customer segmentation, opportunity assessment, purpose and positioning, brand architecture and portfolio strategy, brand experience, loyalty, employee branding, and brand-led innovation. They are brand and business thinkers, with the ability to engage our clients and mentor the Consultants and Analysts within the team.
The Brand & Marketing Innovation practice believes in the power of brands to transform businesses, drive growth, and create financial value. We create compelling and captivating brands – revitalising existing brands and designing new ones from the ground up. Moving beyond traditional methodologies, we seek to build breakthrough brands that live and grow in the modern world, reflecting current cultural narratives, leveraging growth insights, and operating in a digitally led way. We cover all aspects of business-to-brand strategy, brand creation, brand innovation, brand transformation, and the marketing strategies to support them.

Skills, Attributes and Attitude:

  • At least 5 years of strategy consulting experience with a major consulting, research, or client company, specialising in brand and marketing strategy, brand positioning architecture and/or brand
  • Able to develop breakthrough brand strategies, positionings and innovations through a deep understanding of our clients’
  • Challenging conventional views and presenting ideas persuasively to gain buy-in.
  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and
  • Able to translate strategic thinking to creative and innovative brand and marketing
  • A working knowledge of modern marketing principles and understanding of how to build powerful brands in today’s
  • Experience and knowledge of portfolio
  • Comfort designing research approaches, managing research processes and both analysing and distilling data to build robust, compelling, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work across multiple projects, with good organizational skills, flexibility, and

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As a Senior Consultant, Brand & Marketing Innovation, here’s what you can expect:

INDICATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the day-to-day project engagement; you will own workstreams and act largely independently on specific project deliverables. You apply the right methodologies and have an agile mindset, taking ownership of client deliverables and
  • Actively supporting on the management of client relationships strategically, commercially, and operationally.
  • Participation in strategic new business pitches and initiatives, alongside developing growth opportunities across existing clients.
  • Ensuring Ogilvy Consulting has an impact in client meetings and
  • Participating in all aspects of methodology and work, including analysing quantitative and qualitative research as well as creative thinking and developing strategic recommendations.
  • Scoping and managing the financial and budgetary aspects of your client projects.
  • Keeping abreast of innovations in your area(s) of expertise, actively contributing to the knowledge base and developing thought leadership.
  • Acting as a role model; you are regularly sought out after for views by peers and the wider team and will contribute to development of analysts and consultants within the team.
