To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A passion for new technology and a desire to continually learn and grow as a quality engineer
  • Hands-on development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Experience in implementing automation frameworks that cover at least two of the following applications: API, web, mobile, console and desktop applications
  • Understanding of DevOps processes facilitating Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Working knowledge of modern architecture patterns e.g., microservices, containerisation, their suitability, complexities, and alternatives
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Experience with some of the following tools: Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, SOAP UI, Serenity, SpecFlow, Cucumber, Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, JMeter, Gatling
  • Evidence of contributions to open-source community
  • Full stack development experience
  • A programming language or cloud certification
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance to Security Check (SC) level, if not holding an existing clearance

Responsibilities:

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Providing teams with the confidence they need to adopt continuous integration and continuous delivery practices by equipping pipelines with layers of automated tests
  • Contributing to development of Deloitte’s tools and accelerators
  • Working effectively as part of inclusive and diverse teams
  • Building your own brand within Deloitte by supporting the development of client bids and proposals
