As we are building and expanding our team, we are seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Consultant within the Technology Risk - Assurance team in our Canberra office. You will have the opportunity to work with some cutting edge IT systems in government that are integral to the delivery of Government policies and programs.
As you will be working with Federal Government clients, it is essential you are an Australian citizen and living or prepared to relocate to Canberra.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the execution of audits/ assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g. CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley Act)
  • Participation in IT Assurance/ Audit - including the execution of evaluating and design of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls) in support of external and internal audits as well as other IT related assurance engagements
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for clients and other stakeholders
  • Working effectively as a team member – providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
  • Ensure client deliverables are on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal
