Software Engineer

Senior Consultant with the following duties:

• Design, develop, test, modify, implement, integrate and customize web front-end, back-end, web-based applications using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware)
• Design headless web applications and solutions using React JS, Node JS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, REST API, SASS, LESS or other CSS preprocessors and frameworks.
• Developing integration solution including VSI Proprietary product, PartnerLinQ, LINK partner cartridges with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Provide technical reviews and participate in functional reviews
• Work with business teams to discuss and analyze, explain and recommend, and reconcile desired functionality and corresponding technical capabilities around Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
• Assure that application design and implementation are consistent with technology strategy
• Participate in the conceptual and technical design of the Ecommerce solution.
• Implement JavaScript code for marketing tags and analytics.
• Conduct performance tuning and code refactoring.
• Ensure best practices are followed and improve the ongoing maintenance processes.
• As senior consultant, work closely with development team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• As tech lead, work with client Project Managers and Product Owners to prioritize the tasks and plan work assignments.
• Act as liaison between onsite and offshore development teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Work experience requirements: 2 years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of AVP Salesforce, Consultant Software Engineer, Advisory Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Skill set requirements: 2 years in the following skill set:

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) development
• Adobe Commerce (Magento) PWA studio development
• JavaScript, jQuery, Web-services (REST & SOAP), HTML & CSS Bootstrap
• React JS, Node JS
• Git (Bitbucket, Github), SVN, TFS
• PartnerLinQ API Integration
