- Deep Industry experience in UK Transmission and Distribution market as a subject matter expert
- Expertise in regulatory compliance
- Experience of leading Business Consulting – Advisory Services, Process Consulting & Business Analysis engagements in the T&D domain

ABOUT THE ROLE
Energy & Utilities in The UK are going through a transformation journey with the focus on Field services, enhanced customer experience (through digital and data enablement), Connected technologies/IoT and green energy (electric vehicles, heat pumps etc.). Cognizant has engagements with multiple energy & utilities clients in Ireland where we are helping them being customer obsessed and lead the transformation initiatives to build new offerings, solutions and innovative business models aligned to the market trends and regulatory commitments.
Cognizant has seeking an established UK Transmission and Distribution Consulting lead/Associate Director as part of our Utilities Industry consulting group where we are helping out customer in this domain being customer obsessed and lead the transformation initiatives to build new offerings, solutions and innovative business models aligned to the market trends and regulatory commitments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry regulations and upcoming changes in electricity transmission and distribution market structure
- Review, analyse and provide solutions around UK electricity network domain specific problem statements in the functional areas of strategic spatial planning, design standards, regulatory approval, planning approval, supply chain and skills, communities and engagement and outage planning
- Build a team of T&D specific domain consulting capability with ability to lead short term consulting engagements on its own or as part of a wider Transformation programme as Domain/programme lead
- Understands and supports business development, pre-sales, requirement gathering workshops for RFI/RFPs and proactive client opportunities with direct consulting and non-consulting revenue impact
- Thought leadership and creation of IP that can be leveraged to drive non-linear growth and drive business outcomes.
