POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior Content Designer, you like being at the intersection of content and design. You understand that content that’s well designed is easy to follow and understandable. As a champion for our users, you organize and present content in a meaningful way.
You will draw upon your knowledge of content, design and UX best practices, brand guidelines, accessibility standards and competitive research to simplify the user experience. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, engineering and other stakeholders with occasional direct support from your manager. You may also be called upon to mentor junior colleagues. When you have to show your work, you’ll love the chance to participate and run workshops and design review.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in UX writing , UX Design or Content Design
• 2+ years experience with Agile and lean UX/software development practices, including using product management software (Rally, Jira)
• 2+ years experience in web and app experiences
• 2+ years experience collaborating with internal team members, such as experience designers, accessibility experts and product managers
• 2+ years experience in UX wire framing, UX flows, and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects with prototyping software such as Figma and Miro
• Experience in health care, pharmacy or other regulated fields (insurance, finance, etc.)
• Experience with translation and transcreation best practices
• Deep knowledge of enterprise content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or similar
• Portfolio should include work on digital products and/or services, service design or human centered designs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive experience with design software (Figma, Airtable, InVision, Miro)
• Experience collaborating across disciplines (design, design ops, research and usability, accessibility, product managers and engineering)
• Experience in working with and improving business requirements
• Comfortable with UX and Usability terminology, taxonomies and practices, including Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methods, to solve problems and innovate
• Knows how and when to use inventories and audits, content frameworks, competitive analysis and mapping
• Knows when to collaborate and compromise and when to be the voice for the user and stand up for what’s right.

EDUCATION

Bachelor or Master’s degree preferred in the field of Human Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, Technical Writing, English, or Journalism. Extensive work experience, academic work or certifications in user experience fields are also welcome.
