Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a lead content-producing role accountable for the overarching editorial success of Homes To Love. A key part of this role is ideating and producing a wide range of on-brand original content - including news and in-depth features - as well as reworking magazine content (from Belle, Australian House & Garden, Country Style and Inside Out) for an online audience. The Senior Content Producer will assist with Homes To Love social assets and EDMs by executing strategy for these assets.
The Senior Content Producer needs to be adept at using analytic tools and other available data and insights to grow traffic and audiences and build brand equity, audience loyalty and a supportive commercial environment.
The Senior Content Producer leads by example to ensure consistency in operations and processes, as well as ensuring the content created is always of high quality - working towards a collaborative team culture across the category and wider digital department. The Senior Content Producer can also be called on to mentor or train less experienced team members or those from other departments, as requested or required.

DUTIES

  • Content ideation, planning and execution
  • Creating clean, factually correct and highly engaging content
  • Optimising magazine content for a digital audience
  • Research and liaising with experts and PRs for stories.
  • Social media and email execution
  • Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest (where applicable) account management, with audience engagement and growth
  • Weekly EDM sends - ensuring content is optimised to drive traffic.
  • Producing affiliate shopping content
  • Generating ideas for new affiliate content based on current trends, sales and previous affiliate wins
  • Generating a roster of content based on data garnered from Skimlinks as well as spreadsheets from Audience Development.
