Description:
SENIOR CONTRACT OFFICER
The Corporate Services Branch is looking for a Senior Contract Officer for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-05 ($68,641 to $91,072 per annum). Rate of 2021 - Salary under review.

EDUCATION
A High School diploma.
EXPERIENCE
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the field of procurement performing the following tasks:
- Providing procurement services. This includes but is not limited to: experience reviewing statements of work and bid evaluation criteria, issuing solicitations, evaluating bids, awarding contracts, conducting supplier de-briefings, and managing contracts.
- Providing advice and recommendations to clients on contractual issues, strategies, and policies.
KNOWLEDGE
- Of the procurement policies and legal framework related to Federal Government procurement, including current trade agreements.
ABILITIES
- To analyze and make recommendations;
- To establish priorities, organize work to meet tight deadlines and work with limited supervision;
- To adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities;
- To support a team and be willing to contribute and participate accordingly;
- To communicate effectively in writing and orally.
