PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in contract administration within the mining or construction industry.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law and its application in a commercial setting.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively, with a track record of securing favorable terms and resolving disputes amicably.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all contractual documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Word.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Certification in Contract Management or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Additional Qualifications: Additional certifications in project management or related areas would be advantageous.
  • Industry-Specific Training: Knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices in mining and construction.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential contractual risks and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on contract status, financial performance, and compliance issues for senior management review.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies, maintaining high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
