Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Provide prompt response to customers’ inquiries and requests for service. Providing technical advice and arranging follow-up on more difficult matters.
- Ensures timely execution of planned maintenance activities.
- Advise DeltaV clients where improvement and expansion are possible.
- Advise on the technical design and engineering phase of control system (DeltaV and/or DeltaV SIS according to experience and certification) projects.
- Liaise with the sales, proposals team, and customers during the pursuit phase to ensure that the technical solutions meet the requirements of the clients.
- Develop and compile high-quality technical reports.
- Deliver system and software upgrades and configuration often on-site with existing clients.
- Submit documentation to the client for approval.
- Collaborate with team members on detailed design and implementation, including remote-based resources as appropriate.
- Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) phase, including the development of relevant processes and procedures to be used. Ensure that a process is in place to identify and fix any punch list items.
- Plan and undertake Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) once project is delivered to the site
- Expected to be part of the on-call roster
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Degree in Chemical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- Onsite technical maintenance and analysis experience on a distributed control system.
- DCS diagnostic and problem analysis experience
