Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Senior Control Systems Engineer will lead the control system team for projects including PLC, RTU, DCS & SIS systems; design, programming, site acceptance testing and ongoing support.
You will be a specialist in Power Generation industry including Generators, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Renewable and Micro-Grid control systems & instrumentation.
This role can be based in Perth or Darwin however will support our Darwin Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare control system and electrical engineering design packages including drawings, specifications, schedules, execution plans and FAT/SAT
  • Program control system logic, factory testing and simulation, software development
  • Manage a team of engineers, scheduling work activities
  • Manage turnkey projects; project management, stakeholder management
  • Available to travel for site commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Provide appropriate and timely support to Clients regarding control systems
  • Available for on-call remote support roster
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Write reports and documentation.
  • Provide Senior Engineering review of internal documentation and specifications
  • Mentor Graduate & Junior Control Systems Engineers
