Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Senior Control Systems Engineer will lead the control system team for projects including PLC, RTU, DCS & SIS systems; design, programming, site acceptance testing and ongoing support.
You will be a specialist in Power Generation industry including Generators, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Renewable and Micro-Grid control systems & instrumentation.
This role can be based in Perth or Darwin however will support our Darwin Office
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare control system and electrical engineering design packages including drawings, specifications, schedules, execution plans and FAT/SAT
- Program control system logic, factory testing and simulation, software development
- Manage a team of engineers, scheduling work activities
- Manage turnkey projects; project management, stakeholder management
- Available to travel for site commissioning and troubleshooting
- Provide appropriate and timely support to Clients regarding control systems
- Available for on-call remote support roster
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders
- Write reports and documentation.
- Provide Senior Engineering review of internal documentation and specifications
- Mentor Graduate & Junior Control Systems Engineers
