Tasks

• You’re an independent sparring partner for our subsidiary Sky Media and work on the development and implementation of financial targets
• In this context, you’re responsible for the preparation of budget planning, the 5-year plan and the monthly financial statements including target/actual analyses for your budget section
• You’ll contribute preparing, analyzing & commenting on weekly and monthly financial performance - discussing deviations with management and initiating performance enhancing measures
• You’ll take care of evaluating large media deals with regard to overarching group-relevant targets and preparing the basis for decision-making for management and finance
• The independent processing of ad-hoc inquiries and analyses as well as the creation of business cases as a basis for investment decisions is part of your daily business
• You’ll make a key contribution to the conceptual development of internal analysis methods, processes and internal reporting

Requirements

• You’ve successfully completed a degree in economics or a comparable field of study
• You’ll bring at least 5-6 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally within a media company or marketer
• Your excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset set you apart from others
• You describe your working style as independent and structured and have a good understanding of the relationships behind the numbers and complex processes
• Above all, your strong analytical and conceptual skills distinguish you
• You’ve expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP - other tools and knowledge are an advantage
• Very good German skills round off your profile - you’ll bring also a good command of English to be able to interact confidently with colleagues from UK & Accounting
