You will collaborate with the business to design, embed, and evidence the operation of controls to mitigate key risks faced by TMK.
The role includes responsibilities such as conducting walkthroughs to understand and document key processes across the business, in support of the execution of the ICT onboarding plan. You will also support the business to design key controls and where appropriate, track corrective actions and process improvement through to resolution.
In addition to this, you will also perform and review testing to confirm the design and operational effectiveness of key controls, also drafting key reports for business stakeholders summarising the content and output from onboarding work performed. You will also assist with the production of key committee reports to management, as well as collaborating with other integrated assurance teams to support a coordinated approach to risk and control activities within the business. The role also includes responsibilities such as undertaking other reasonable duties of a similar nature as required by Internal Controls Team, including responsibilities to support JSOX and CSA reviews, as directed from Head Office.
The successful candidate will understand key insurance concepts and will be able to analyse and understand complex processes, providing feedback in real-time. You will have the experience and ability to differentiate between risks, controls and apply this knowledge in the context of business processes. The successful candidate will also be able to challenge and persuade business stakeholders effectively, using their strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver key messages to the business clearly and concisely. We are looking for someone that operates with integrity, who can build relationships with stakeholders and act as an ambassador for collaboration.
