Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
You will join a progressive and innovative Copy Creation & Localisation team. Reporting into the Content Lead, you will write innovative and engaging copy for various touch points across FARFETCH and FPS, adhering to the tone of voice and style guidelines.
You will be required to create well-written, succinct, informative and accurate copy on the subject of luxury clothing, accessories and lifestyle products sold on the site.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will complete English product descriptions to the highest standard, ensuring daily targets are achieved, for both FARFETCH.com and FPS clients
- You will work across multiple touch points for FARFETCH.com, including supporting our Brand & Marketing teams when required
- You will have a good understanding of all tenants and touch points, and be agile to work across multiple tools and content formats when required
- You will deliver BAU excellence, maintaining a Farfetch level of quality and tone-of-voice.
- You will ensure copy is consistent and accurate.
- You will be proactive in product, brand and competitor research, staying up to date with industry news
- Attend relevant brand training sessions and present points of interest back to the team
- You will attend and participate in writers’ workshops
- You will support in sub-editing other writers work when required
- You will help to mentor new members of the team - introducing them to processes and ways of working, ensuring that writing standards are maintained
- You will demonstrate a proactive approach to work, showing initiative, suggesting ideas to continuously improve quality and ways of working
- You will support the Content Lead and Manager in ad-hoc projects and requests when required
