About the role & team:
We’re an organic content team looking for a highly skilled, native English-speaking Senior Copywriter with a strong attention to editorial detail, a passion for writing, and a sharp business sense. The ideal candidate is a professional copywriter with a track record of writing and editing performance-driven content and a keen interest in SEO and user-growth strategies. Join our dynamic, global SEO team and play a crucial role in expanding our US and international online presence.
Excelling in this position requires thriving in a collaborative environment, working closely across different time zones with copywriters, editors, SEO experts, data analysts, designers, publishing specialists, external agencies, and more. This is a hybrid role based in the Czech Republic at our Prague headquarters or Brno office, with some flexibility to work remotely.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Execute and support the Acquisition content strategy for our blogs, delivering outstanding copy to support our global websites and brands.
  • Collaborate with our expert editorial team to create impactful and engaging long-form content seen by millions of people around the world.
  • Research, write, and edit articles about digital security and privacy, identity protection, online scams, financial wellness, and related topics to help people safely navigate their digital lives.
  • Support a team of freelance copywriters, coordinating content planning, providing feedback, and assisting with related tasks.
  • Prepare and adapt content before it’s translated, helping us serve UK, French, German, and other international audiences more effectively.
  • Closely monitor and optimize the performance of all content to deliver against challenging traffic, engagement, and conversion targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and product managers, subject-matter experts, SEO specialists, designers, and technical teams to test and update articles and landing pages to ensure our content supports our product roadmap.
  • Continually learn and refine techniques for gauging the needs and preferences of our audiences, and for creating and editing content that matches that.
  • Help solidify our global brands as industry-leading and highly trusted sources of information that offer audiences and customers a best-in-class experience.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a digital copywriter, with proven ability to write engaging, long-form “performance” content that drives web traffic and conversions (user acquisition, lead generation, sales).
  • Ability to coordinate content production with multiple stakeholders, and to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Professional editorial experience, with superb proofreading and copy-editing skills and a meticulous attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to provide feedback and develop other writers.
  • Experience writing about technology, with expertise in some of the following areas: identity protection, financial wellness, scams, online security and privacy, device optimization, and SaaS.
  • Journalism background and/or the ability to quickly research complex subjects, synthesize new information, and write clearly, concisely, and accurately about a variety of topics for a general audience.
  • Experience using web analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to evaluate content performance and suggest actionable improvements.
  • Knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn about) fundamental SEO principles and how to optimize web content for maximum organic search visibility.
  • Familiarity with conversion-rate optimization (CRO) techniques and a passion for testing new ways to improve content performance.
  • Ability to use a CMS to edit content independently.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a flexible, committed approach to work.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, results-driven, and able to work independently with only directional supervision.
  • Native English speaker. Proficiency in German and/or French is a big plus (but not required).
