SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar
- CA/CPA/CIMA Qualified
- Experience within financial reporting and financial control
- Advanced problem solving and planning abilities
- Sound Australian accounting standards knowledge

Responsibilities:
- Provide support on the interpretation of and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare technical papers to support accounting positions taken, and assist with the annual financial audit and responding to audit queries
- Assist with internal audit requests and ensuring compliance with Group policies and processes
- Assist in the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements, including tax effect accounting
- Assist with end of month group reporting packs and analysis
- Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations and assists with end of month balance sheet reviews
- Preparation of statutory accounts - GST, FBT, Income tax, Payroll taxes and reporting
- Ensure accurate financial reporting IFRS16 lease arrangements, manage the Lease Management systems from a financial perspective; review and approve monthly rent invoices
- Manage accounting for acquisitions
- Identify and implement process and control improvements
