Senior Corporate Analyst
Full Time, Permanent

To accurately analyse and evaluate comprehensive information to generate meaningful insights and reports that inform corporate development decision making e.g. strategic, public affairs, policy, responsible business decision-making.
To execute research and insight activity to inform long term corporate decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • The role is part of a resource pool, tasked with supporting Strategic Development, Public Affairs, Policy, Purpose, Responsible Business and Corporate Analysis, planning and reporting through the application of analytics and research:
  • Conduct research, through multiple channels, into macroeconomic factors, financial service industry trends, social changes, and political and regulatory developments that could impact the business.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather internal capability data and external market intelligence.
  • Organise and interpret data themes (using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques), driving real insights to support decision-making.
  • Utilise analytical skills to identify, assess, and evaluate risks across various domains, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Utilise data analysis and trend identification to forecast future market conditions, financial service industry trends, consumer preferences, and business performance metrics.
  • Provide decision-makers with actionable insights and recommendations based on analytics and research findings.
  • Prepare output that is excellently written and conveys results in a compelling way, supporting the production of high-quality reports.
  • Collate and analyse data from diverse sources within the organisation to assess performance against established metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant subject e.g Strategy, Business, Finance and, ideally, a relevant financial services professional qualification.
  • Proven track record in generating deep intelligence and insights from robust analysis of data from multiple sources and using it to inform strategic, policy or corporate development decision making and shape strategic direction. Experience usually comes through working in a management consultancy or financial services analytical role.
  • A deep knowledge of today’s financial services and pension landscape, coupled with a curiosity about what it will look like.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills and know how to use analytical models and scenario analysis
