Senior Corporate Officer (London Trust)
Role Location: Budapest, Hungary
Department: Corporate Solutions

A highly motivated individual with the ability to perform a variety of tasks and carry out the Company Secretarial duties for London Trust portfolio. As a Senior Corporate Officer in our Budapest office, you will work as part of a team providing a broad spectrum of company secretarial services covering board meeting responsibilities, statutory compliance, governance and best practice advice to clients and client managers.
The successful candidate will report to the Company Secretarial Manager in Hungary, and will be expected to work proactively, independently when required, and as part of the wider Apex team.
General
- To proactively spot governance issues before they arise
- To manage relevant relationships with team members and senior management
- To build positive relationships and add real value to the teams and entities from a governance perspective
- To oversee and coordinate the team’s day-to-day work.
- To build your knowledge of UK Company Law.
- To deliver in training events, self-driven research and day to day exposure to company secretarial workflows.
- To adhere to processes, procedures, and working practices.
- To work within a dynamic team, focusing on delivering excellent service to clients.
- To coordinate and manage the transfer of the admin work to the Budapest team.
London Trust:
- Statutory compliance: CS01 & Accounts deadline monitoring based on compliance calendar, review forms and documents produced by the preparer(s);
- Respond to ad hoc requests: structure charts, registers etc reviews;
- CRE UK 8 GP Limited: organise Board meetings on quarterly basis (already scheduled until February 2024), gather and circulate documents for the board pack, attend board meetings (can’t be recorded), review minutes drafted by preparer(s);
- Respond to basic KYC requests: provide passport and utility bill of directors,
- Mortgages: file MR01 and MR04 forms with CH;
- Officer changes: review documents for officer changes, file with CH;
- Review and /or Action announcements on LSE, ISE
Apex Internal:
- ACBS Limited: review board pack produced by the preparer on Board Intelligence, attend BMs quarterly, review minutes produced by the preparer(s);
- Statutory compliance: CS01 & Accounts deadline monitoring based on compliance calendar, review forms and documents drafted by the preparer(s);
- Overseeing and coordinating Group projects
- Respond to KYC queries;
- Officer changes: review documents for officer changes, file with CH;
- Respond to ad hoc requests: structure charts, registers etc review.
Admin tasks:
- Prepare the monthly KPI report;
- Prepare monthly billing report for recharging;
- Worklog & Compliance Calendar maintenance
People Management Tasks:
- Monthly 1:1 meetings with subordinates,
- Performance review as requested.
