JOB DESCRIPTION
Manulife is looking for an experienced lawyer for a 1-year contract to join our Insurance - Group Benefits Legal Team.
You will have the opportunity to provide legal support for our business across Canada, including:
- Advising on impacts of laws across the country and providing legal expertise to our life and health insurance business,
- Drafting and negotiating key strategic contracts with our plan sponsors and vendors,
- Supporting the development of digital-focused and customer centric insurance products,
- Collaborating with business partners to support our business objectives,
- Handling legal risk – considering our unique business needs and innovative legal solutions,
- Creating and developing templates, playbooks and processes.
- Advise in insurance, corporate commercial, digital, privacy, data, cyber, technology and health law
Working in a collaborative environment and engaging in a diverse practice.
