YOUR CONTRIBUTION!

We are looking for a transactional and international tax expert with experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly for Canada, the United States, France and Chile. As Senior Legal Counsel – Taxation, you will join our growing team in Longueuil, Québec for a 12-month contract. This is an extraordinary opportunity whereby you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office.

YOUR SKILLS, OUR REQUIREMENTS!

  • University degree and master’s degree in taxation.
  • Undergraduate degree in law or accounting and recognized qualification.
  • Completed graduate studies in taxation.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in corporate taxation or with a major Canadian or international law or accounting firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax and international regulations in the above-mentioned countries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting and tax software.
  • ERP knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis. Spanish an asset.
