This role is well suited to someone who has proven work experience in a similar role with excellent written and oral communication skills and is up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues. Any candidates coming from the Asset, Equipment or Automotive Finance industries will be highly advantageous. You will hold a DLA already & have prior experience reviewing business financials. This role is well suited to someone who is looking to take the next step and grow their career in a fast-paced environment.
While the title of this role is Senior Credit Analyst, the client is very open to candidates at the Credit Analyst level looking for that next step.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic Credit Team ensuring that accurate credit assessments are made for new credit applications. You will work closely with an impressive Senior Management Team & Credit Manager to gain their insights, all of which boast many years of industry experience. A truly national business you will also enjoy the support of peers in multiple Australian States. This role focuses on Commercial Applications & ideally you will have exposure to more complex applications.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage the end-to-end credit assessment process for business loan applications (within individual credit approval level)
  • Ensure that all funding applications are reviewed in line with all applicable credit criteria and lending policies.
  • Think outside of the box about how credit could be offered based on each individual circumstance.
  • Provide support and mentoring to junior members of the team, assisting with all areas of the underwriting process.
  • Communicate outcomes and the decision-making rationale to Direct and Partner Sales teams.
  • Deliver to all regulatory and legislative requirements and meet all risk and compliance requirements.
  • Underwriting in accordance with AML/KYC & Privacy Act and all other legislation regarding Business Lending
