SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST – TAGUIG CITY, PHILIPPINES

Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collection of accounts receivable from Agents in Asia Pacific countries to maximize cash flow to Western Union and minimize credit loss & write-offs.
  • Reconciliation of agent’s account balances (payments and receivables).
  • Daily limit management.
  • Credit Underwriting - analysis & management of credit risk of Agents & Sovereign risk.
  • Credit Administration & preparation of regional credit reports.
  • Resolves complex Credit issues and makes sound Credit decision independently.
  • Participation in special projects assigned (ad hoc).

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related course is required.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience as Credit analyst or related function.
  • Experience in the collection of accounts receivable, analysis of financial statements and credit review is preferred.
  • Experience in the fintech/ financial services/ banking industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be an advantage.
  • Experience in problem solving and decision-making bearing in mind business implications and/or financial risks.
  • Proficiency on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Role will be based in Taguig City, Philippines for APAC Region.
