SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST – TAGUIG CITY, PHILIPPINES

Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collection of accounts receivable from Agents in Asia Pacific countries to maximize cash flow to Western Union and minimize credit loss & write-offs.
- Reconciliation of agent’s account balances (payments and receivables).
- Daily limit management.
- Credit Underwriting - analysis & management of credit risk of Agents & Sovereign risk.
- Credit Administration & preparation of regional credit reports.
- Resolves complex Credit issues and makes sound Credit decision independently.
- Participation in special projects assigned (ad hoc).
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related course is required.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience as Credit analyst or related function.
- Experience in the collection of accounts receivable, analysis of financial statements and credit review is preferred.
- Experience in the fintech/ financial services/ banking industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be an advantage.
- Experience in problem solving and decision-making bearing in mind business implications and/or financial risks.
- Proficiency on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Role will be based in Taguig City, Philippines for APAC Region.
