POSITION SUMMARY:
- Title: Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
- Location: Any capital city in Australia
HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NOT ALL BOXES NEED TICKING):
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in threat intelligence analysis within critical infrastructure or related sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in threat feeds, IoCs, Elasticsearch, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications in intelligence or cyber security are highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and threat intelligence formats (e.g., STIX/TAXII).
- Attributes: Critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging cyber threats and trends to anticipate potential risks.
- Threat Intelligence Sharing: Lead the development and distribution of actionable intelligence reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Incident Response Support: Provide critical insights and recommendations during cyber security incidents to facilitate effective response and mitigation.
