POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Title: Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
  • Location: Any capital city in Australia

HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NOT ALL BOXES NEED TICKING):

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in threat intelligence analysis within critical infrastructure or related sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in threat feeds, IoCs, Elasticsearch, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications in intelligence or cyber security are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and threat intelligence formats (e.g., STIX/TAXII).
  • Attributes: Critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging cyber threats and trends to anticipate potential risks.
  • Threat Intelligence Sharing: Lead the development and distribution of actionable intelligence reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Incident Response Support: Provide critical insights and recommendations during cyber security incidents to facilitate effective response and mitigation.
  • Framework Development: Contribute to the enhancement of frameworks and systems to bolster threat detection and response capabilities.
