SENIOR CUSTODY OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Custody Operations Manager to lead our Asset Banking Services Group. As the Senior Custody Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to a team of five managers within the group. Your primary focus will be on managing asset transfers, mutual funds transfers, transaction statements and providing support to ensure smooth operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
  • Five to seven years of management experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in Custody Operations Management, Asset Banking Services, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Experience working with different assent management software (SCI, SPQR, etc)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and guide a team of five managers with the Asset Banking Services Group to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure efficient execution of asset transfers, mutual funds transfers, transaction statements, etc.
  • Act as a key point of contact for problem resolution, addressing any operational issues or challenges that may arise within the group.
  • Manage the final oversight and budgeting for the Asset Banking Services Group, including monitory and managing salary budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency within the custody operations function.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to track the success of the Asset Banking Services Group and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the managers within the group, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development.
