SKILL, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- B2B marketing or customer success experience, preferably in STM.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in research/academic settings.
- Knowledge of the research landscape, journals/open access, trends, and competitors.
- Excellent communication skills. Can translate complex information into compelling copy.
This role requires some travel
Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with key customers and expanding your networks beyond the purchaser to other stakeholders.
- Running evaluations for major customers, setting clear success metrics and measurable outcomes.
- Ensuring successful onboarding of new customers and delivering strategies to encourage adoption of BMJs products and services.
- Monitoring the performance of BMJ’s major open access and subscription customers, maintaining usage and submissions trackers.
- Working with colleagues in Marketing on strategies to increase engagement and implementing campaigns where needed.
- Using customer and data insights to identify unmet needs and introducing new products in discussions with customers where appropriate.
- Collaborating with Product, Sales, Customer Support and Marketing colleagues to ensure overall customer success.
- Working with customers to develop testimonials, case studies and other materials demonstrating the impact of BMJ’s products and services.
