About the Role (your why)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Cybersecurity Technical Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions that safeguard our organisation’s critical assets. Your expertise in CrowdStrike, Identity Protection, Sentinel SIEM, and Network Detection & Response will be crucial in fortifying our security posture.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity architectures and frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance in the deployment and management of our tooling stack, such as Crowdstrike EDR, Identity Protection solutions, SIEM, and Network Detection & Response technologies.
  • Supporting the integration and operation of security monitoring tools, incident response, and threat detection systems, ensuring continuous protection against threats from an engineering point.
  • Support the documentation of security vulnerability and risk analyses for new tools, and devise mitigation strategies to address queries and risk concerns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network engineering, and application development, to ensure seamless security integration across the enterprise tooling stack.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our security capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including architecture diagrams, and incident response playbooks.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of infrastructure, with understanding of IT security principles.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Network Detection & Response (NDR), Identity, access management and SIEM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced technical knowledge in the field of IT architecture.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in delivering programs within cybersecurity.
  • High level knowledge of Cybersecurity risk assessment programs. Understanding of various aspects of the Disaster Recovery position that apply to mainframe, mid-range, LAN & associated networks.
  • 8+ years’ experience in IT, with 5 years’ experience specialising in cybersecurity (Engineering / Analyst or Architecture)
