As a (Senior) Data Analyst (m/f/d) in the field of Digital Analytics in our central CDAO Data & Analytics team, you will support our journey towards a data-driven organization.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, business informatics or comparable studies
  • Several years of professional experience as a BI / Data Analyst, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Hands-on experience in at least one programming and scripting language (e.g., Python, SQL) as well as analysis platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics…)
  • Strong visualization skills in tools such as Power BI or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings and actionable recommendations in a targeted manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate, connect and understand stakeholder needs and real-world problems
  • Project management experience: creating a simple project plan, prioritizing tasks, proactive communication and transparency on project progress and bottlenecks, proposing alternative solutions
  • Excellent English communication skills (main team language is English, but German skills are a plus)
  • High degree of customer focus, independence, motivation, and general hands-on mentality

Responsibilities:

  • Independently developing concepts, data models and pipelines as the basis for reports or advanced analytics products.
  • Maintenance, sampling, cleansing and reduction/transformation of structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources
  • Independently create and develop advanced reports and visualizations for monitoring, benchmarking, and analyzing media / e-commerce / CRM performance KPIs
  • Analyze data with a methodical mindset by applying analytical techniques (data set creation & manipulation, statistics, etc.) using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Based on data and analytical insights, support our departments in deriving best practices and developing appropriate strategies to drive customer/channel growth.
  • Support or lead cross-functional, national, and international data & analytics projects
  • Serve as a data expert and data translator in the DACH organization by sharing insights, performing ad hoc analysis on data, introducing new wow methods or technical tools.
