Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to be part of our Global Logistics team. This position will play a crucial role in driving our global logistics strategy through data-driven insights and solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for optimizing logistics operations and improving supply chain efficiency on a global scale. You will be at the forefront of collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to enhance transportation processes, inventory management, and supplier performance. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to key decision-making processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably with exposure to logistics or supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Understanding of international logistics concepts, including transportation management, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Retool.
- Certification or coursework in supply chain management, data analysis, or related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data from various sources to provide insights into global logistics operations, including transportation, customs clearance processes, inventory management, and supplier performance.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key logistics metrics and KPIs on a global scale, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in global logistics processes through data analysis techniques, contributing to operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand logistics requirements and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to optimize logistics operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Staying informed about international trade regulations and industry trends to support logistics operations and decision-making.
- Conducting ad hoc analysis on projects to address specific business challenges or opportunities related to global logistics.
