Description:

Overview:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of a team suporting the modernization efforts of our federal customer. Karsun offers a portfolio of Enterprise Modernization services to both civilian and defense Federal agencies. Karsun’s list of strong clientele includes U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. General Services Administration, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to develop domain expertise on a number of business data sources
  • Understanding legacy business rules, participate in business model development and identify options for its modernization
  • Identify and document data mapping and business requirements for modernized system development activities
  • Use SQL and automated tools to extract and compare data from primary and secondary sources
  • Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
  • Identify corrupted data and coding errors and work with data engineers on their resolution
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
  • Preparing analysis reports for different types of stakeholders
