Description:

The Senior Data Analyst operates as part of the Procurement Transformation Program within the Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation Portfolio. You will coordinate the provision of accurate and timely information to key stakeholders, including dashboards, reports and visualisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the development of data extract and transformation procedures based on procurement related requirements, leveraging enterprise systems including S/4HANA, DSS and Celonis.
  • Partner with other data teams, including Data Enhancements (within Supply Chain Surety Branch), Celonis Team (within Finance Branch), and Advisory & Continuous Improvement (within System Procurement branch), to obtain data and develop insights to ensure integrated evidence-based decisions.
  • Undertake advanced analysis of data utilising various applications and methods to enable integrated data reporting for the Program.
  • Support the reporting deliverables which includes extracting data from multiple sources, importing and merging data into databases, creating dashboards and report templates, producing reports, analysing performance results, developing, and delivering key findings.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the development, implementation, and review of performance reporting, and define regular and ad-hoc information reporting requirements and ensure provision within agreed timeframes
  • Implement data management systems and processes to ensure data quality and integrity with a focus on ensuring analyses can be repeated based on the data.
  • Proactively contribute to maintaining the desired culture within a high-performing team by working smartly and independently, behaving in a professional manner in accordance with agreed policies, utilising initiative and maintaining a positive outlook and approach.
  • Ensure appropriate use, presentation and interpretation of information being released by the P&SCO Portfolio.
