If you share that vision, we’d love to talk with you about our exiting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst reporting to the Vice President of Home Office Underwriting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Field of Study: Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Generally, 2 to 6 years of related experience. Proficiency in Excel is preferred. Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos) is required. Comfortable with SQL and relational database concepts. Interest in programming is a plus (VBA, R, Python, Java). Experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred, with Workers’ Compensation and/or Claims experience being a plus.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to develop and measure KPIs that drive business results.
  • Influences business strategy and decision-making through the strategic use of data and analytics.
  • Designs and develops innovative dashboards, visualizations, and self-service tools to uncover insights and answer critical business questions.
  • Compiles, cleans, organizes, and analyzes complex data to provide a comprehensive understanding of business results.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and investigative skills with a desire for a deeper level of understanding.
  • Approaches problem-solving with curiosity and creativity, viewing challenging problems as opportunities for insight.
  • Successfully bridges the gap between analytics and business, with the ability to communicate effectively in both realms.

  • Comfortable working in both in-person and remote settings, with proficiency in using collaboration tools.
