Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert of Staples’ eProcurement playbook and custodian of core process documentation on behalf of the Sales Engineering organization.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze vendor performance, contract terms, and financial structures that contemplate direct and indirect costs.
- Extract key insights from existing systems to drive informed decision-making and accelerate business initiatives including cost optimization, maximizing value from vendor contracts, as well as contributions to the eProcurement playbook.
- Collaborate closely with key internal partners, including Digital and Transformation teams, to execute the capabilities roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digitization in effort to continuously enhance processes, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy in reporting.
- Develop and maintain a contract management playbook, leveraging key insights gleaned from the deliverables mentioned above, to ensure efficient and effective operational oversight.
- Enhance and execute the end-to-end management of vendor fees – receive and review vendor invoices, perform detailed assurance checks to ensure accuracy and contract compliance, process for payment, and maintain a comprehensive documentation of contracts, terms, payments, and forecast for fiscal planning.
- Serve as dedicated operational POC for vendors. Collaborate with relevant internal departments as needed.
