The successful applicant will have strong critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills, which will be applied in a wide range of project and policy settings. Knowledge of the kindergarten sector will be highly regarded but not necessary.
An exciting opportunity exists for a high performing team player who will play a key role in contributing to the successful implementation of Free Kinder for all three and four year olds from 2023 as part of the Best Start Best Life reform. This role will monitor the capacity of relevant systems to collect, quality assure, analyse and report internal and external data relating to funding for and participation in Free Kindergarten programs and provide advice and recommendations on requirements to adjust and improve these systems. As part of a team of data analysts, you will also support the development, delivery and monitoring of key early learning programs, policies and projects through complex data analysis to achieve the department’s early childhood education policy and funding priorities.
