ABOUT US

The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Data Analyst will work collaboratively across MCV divisions to support evidence-based decision making. This includes the development of models and other analysis for use in business cases, as well as conducting research to assist ongoing business decisions and analytical capability.
As part of an ongoing effort to improve the veracity and availability of data, the role will also support the Senior Manager, DARE to enhance data governance and transparency throughout the organisation by generating, reviewing, and disseminating relevant documentation. The DARE team also supports MCV’s automation strategy by developing automated solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform.
The role will be required to support this agenda through the develop of automated solutions and/or supporting documentation.
