REQUIREMENTS

• Self-motivated, ambitious professional with an entrepreneurial mindset - you need to be motivated to create new things and driven by your and your organization’s professional success
• Master’s degree or PhD level in a relevant STEM discipline such as computer science or engineering, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, management engineering
• 10+ years of deep technical experience in machine learning, data engineering, data science, statistics and business consulting related work
• Thought leadership or people leadership experience (e.g. managed project teams or direct reports)
• Proven application of advanced analytical, data science and statistical methods in the commercial world
• Client-facing skills (e.g. working in close-knit teams on topics such as data warehousing, machine learning)
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with a knack for explaining complex analytical concepts to people from other fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience in management consulting
• Proficiency in both English and Italian languages

QUALIFICATION

• Programming experience in languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL
• Experience on Data Science & Data Engineering projects
• Problem-solver
• Vertical expertise in Financial Services and/or Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences on real world

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced professional to support the company growth in the Data & Business Consulting. The Sr. Data & Business Consultant will be instrumental in driving Hyntelo customers’ success in Data science, Engineering and Business Intelligence / Analytics projects.
In the role, you will have an opportunity to join a hyper-growth scale up that builds digital solutions to solve our clients business needs through the application of AI techniques to large and diverse sets of data.
You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment, harnessing data and identifying the software solutions to provide real-world impact for our customers. If a solution is not existing yet, you will have the chance to craft new ones.
In this role, you will drive the recommendations to our clients to positively impact their businesses and enhance performance. You will work on complex and extremely varied data sets from some of the world’s data-richest organizations in financial services and life sciences to solve real world problems.
You will work through our clients’ entire data ecosystem to understand what’s available, what’s missing, and where to find and collect that information. This includes applying data science methods to improve and optimize our clients’ performance needs, capture meaningful insights from data and turn them into competitive advantages. In addition, you will drive the creation of statistical models to solve specific operational problems, which may include e.g. increasing effectiveness of sales agent networks, optimizing store locations, determining how to use machine learning to predict consumer behavior. You will also work with specialists in machine learning, data engineering and design and add real-world impact to your academic expertise.
Also, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and will have a unique opportunity to expand the company’s footprint in Milan.
