Senior Data Engineer, Contract - LATAM

We are looking for a Contract Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, Redshift, and BigQuery, and have a strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes.
The primary responsibility of the Contract Senior Data Engineer will be to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be able to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Senior experience with Redshift, BigQuery, and other data warehousing and data lake technologies
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Migrate data from RedShift to BigQuery while both are being used in a production environment
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering technologies
