We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team - we have a diverse and inclusive culture where team members are empowered to make decisions and succeed.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our team at the beginning phase/stage on modernising our data landscape.
The Senior Data Engineer’s focus will be to implement and maintain data governance frameworks that promote data integrity, security, and compliance across the FPIM Data Platform.
You will also support the Data Analytics & Insights Manager by attending Governance, technical and strategic forums as their delegate when required, helping to lead the team and manage internal stakeholder relationships in their absence.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems computer engineering, or closely related field
  • Essential Technical Competencies: -
  • Use of DBT
  • Coding Python, Java
  • Snowflake integration techniques, security, and tools
  • Experience working with Project teams and in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver data platform enhancements
  • A sound knowledge of change management principles
  • Demonstrated ability to present data engineering concepts to senior internal stakeholders.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in Data Engineering
  • Health Sector Experience
