ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be a part of the Engineering Enablement team and a core member of our data guild, working on the foundations of our data capabilities where you will work closely with our data analyst, cloud architect and some other Happsters.
The Engineering Enablement team works on the tools needed to build, deploy & run all the services needed for the Happeo application. They aim to enable other engineering teams and provide easy ways for them to deploy their features and monitor their impact.
The role has come about from the need to make much greater use of data to drive experimentation and make informed decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and transformations using data from a variety of product, engineering and business systems (e.g., backend data, Pendo, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Zendesk etc.).
• Propose new solutions, ideas, tools and techniques for moderate and complex problems related to data aiming to support hypothesis driven experimentation
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, data analysts and other internal partners to understand data needs, improve data models and increase data accessibility
• Automating and monitoring our database infrastructure, and related disaster recovery procedures
