Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Building and Maintaining iBase Systems: Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of iBase systems to support data management needs.
- Establishing Data Pipelines: Developing scalable data pipelines for automating data extraction from internal and external sources, ensuring seamless data integration.
- Applying Regulatory Business Knowledge: Leveraging regulatory insights in government licensing, building and construction, and regulatory intelligence data to inform data strategies.
- Ensuring Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality and governance practices to maintain data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborating Across Functions: Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand data requirements and deliver solutions, translating complex data concepts for varied audiences.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
- Expertise in iBase Systems: Demonstrated expert level knowledge and experience in building and maintaining iBase systems, including system architecture, database design, and performance optimisation.
- Specialised Regulatory Data Knowledge: Intimate understanding of government licensing data, building and construction data, corporate conduct data, and home building insurance data. Ability to utilise this data to develop and enhance risk rating capabilities.
- Proficiency in Azure: Deep knowledge of Azure components, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps, with the ability to leverage these tools in creating scalable and secure data solutions.
- Data Integration Skills: Strong capabilities in integrating diverse data sets into cohesive and functional analytics platforms, ensuring data quality and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of applying data to solve complex regulatory challenges, particularly in the building and construction industry.
