Senior Data Product Owner - Corporate Banking

Location: Dubai, UAE The Data Product Owner role is very crucial for the advancement of Data Strategy operationalization and progressing forward the WB data product roadmap by prioritizing WB requirements that cater to Business, Operations, and Support teams for all Data Domains / Sub-domains related to Corporate, FI, and SME banking customers and to ensure data consumer adoption of the governed/certified data products landscape. This role provides the techno-functional and hands-on expertise required for data management and data product implementation. It is placed under respective Data Product Ownership teams under the federated approach, working through a partnership / collaborative model with CoE’s Data Strategy & Governance Function and IT teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science & Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited academic institution.
• Understanding and expert-level proficiency in the Data & Information Management domain and required tools & technologies.
• FRM certification preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data & Information Management and Data Governance domains.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in holding managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise & experience in working through federated/centralized data strategy & governance models.
• Strong Banking domain knowledge. Strong experience in implementing robust data management solutions for financial organizations.
• Multi-Market Experience Preferred.
• Robust knowledge of data, systems, and analytical tools like SAS/SQL, R, Python, Pyspark, etc., Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and data environments.
• Preferred knowledge in HADOOP, Oracle, PostgreSQL & SAP HANA database technology platforms.
• Preferred knowledge in interacting with Data Governance tools (Informatica AXON-EDC-DEQ).
• Preferred knowledge in applying Data Modeling methodologies and interacting with data modeling tools such as SAP Power Designer, Erwin, etc.
• Preferred – Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification from DAMA.
