ABOUT THE TEAM

In this position, you will be part of our Chapter Data & AI Engineering. The chapter represents all experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s MLOps & AIOps tech stack and deliver a high level of data delivery & model automation.
The products you will be working on belong to our team Digital Solutions I Future Energy Home. This team develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units so they can rollout those solutions to the end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors’ devices and apply centralized insights, analytics and control mechanisms for these devices.

  • Perform complex data analysis using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve critical business problems
  • Enhance decision-making processes in the home energy management systems domain by delivering data analysis
  • Design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms; ensure scalability and integration with existing systems and processes
  • Oversee data science projects from conception to deployment and their ongoing maintenance
  • Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments and business units while working in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data

authentic & ambitious - Your profile

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Long-term and profound experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful data-driven projects
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas) and machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies
