POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role performs data/content digital production work when migrating data from a new school district client to one of the Destiny products. The responsibilities include data receiving and auditing, repair and processing, quality review, delivery/deployment, and maintenance using advanced data proficiency and experience. Organizes incoming new school district data into manageable jobs for conversion to the Follett Destiny product platform. Works on all levels of types of data assignments from routine to complex and ensures attention to detail for all new clients. As a subject matter expert, can identify and instruct on alternative approaches to the work when encountering abnormal conditions in data. They can deviate from standard processes to address problem situations when warranted. Work results are required to meet defined quality standards according to defined schedules or standard turn-around times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate up, down and across levels of the organization.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of these systems: Destiny, Salesforce, Titlewave, One-Span & Oracle.
  • Moderate to advanced technical skills with: CSV, MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Word, RIC, Writing Regular Expressions, Create/Update Batches and Perl. Proficiency in any or all the following specification standards: MARC21, AACR2, LCRI & Dewey Decimal classifications, LC Subject & Names Authorities, SEARS Subjects, RDA, PDF, HTML, XML, txt, dbt
  • 3 + years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
