This is an invitation to push the boundaries of conventional data presentation, leveraging the power of open-source tools. You’ll engineer solutions that captivate audiences, effortlessly reveal patterns, and spark impactful business actions.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

A minimum of 8+ years of hands-on data visualization development experience, with a demonstrable track record.

  • Open-Source Mastery: Deep expertise in open-source data visualization libraries (D3.js, Vega, Plotly, etc.) and a strong working knowledge of data analysis and workflow tools (e.g., Apache Superset, KNIME, Jupyter, Orange, Pentaho, ELK Stack, etc. )

• Analytical Visual Thinker: Proven ability to creatively solve data challenges with impactful visualization solutions that balance aesthetics and clarity. • Collaborative Leader: Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Pay Range: CAD $110,000.00 - CAD $150,000.00 /Yr

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Craft Immersive Visualizations: Design and deploy sophisticated, scalable visualizations that
    seamlessly handle complex, dynamic datasets. Transform raw data into clear and engaging visual

stories.

  • Harness AI/ML Power: Collaborate with data scientists to embed AI/ML models into your

visualizations, unlocking predictive capabilities that supercharge strategic business decisions

  • Uphold Data Integrity: Become a champion of data quality, governance, and rigorous ETL/ELT

practices. Ensure visualizations remain accurate and trustworthy reflections of the underlying

data.

  • Cultivate Data Visualization Excellence: Act as a mentor and an inspiration, sharing your

expertise to elevate the team’s proficiency in open-source data visualization techniques and
principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design Insightful Experiences: Design and build interactive dashboards and reports, integrating a
    wide range of open-source visualization libraries (D3.js, Vega, Plotly, etc.) and complementary

data analysis tools (e.g., Apache Superset, KNIME, Jupyter, Orange, Pentaho, ELK stack, etc.)

  • Become a Data Whisperer: Master the art of data preparation, cleansing, and transforming data

specifically for compelling visual analysis.

  • Navigate Hybrid Environments: Demonstrate expertise in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and onpremise solutions, optimizing data architectures for scalability and adaptability
